Kylee has gained her formal therapeutic training through Arizona State University’s Master Social Work program in 2018. Kylee previously attended Utah’s Weber State University, gaining a Bachelors of Social Work in 2016 and Bachelors of Fine Art in 2014. Outside of traditional academia, Kylee has gained her experience through working on a therapeutic and case management level with a variety of populations such as: Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Survivors, Abuse, Autism, Depression, Substance Use, Trauma, Anxiety, LGBTQQI, Behavioral Issues, and more.
If you are a survivor of abuse (physical, emotional, psychological, financial, etc.), if you have experienced a traumatizing event or relationship, if you suffer from anxiety, if you have gotten caught up in using negative coping skills that you want to quit (substance use, addiction), I want to work with you! Let us work side by side to achieve your goals. We will do this by utilizing your preexisting strengths and finding more, to gain stability and an enjoyable life.
You will access strength, self assurance and other skills to enhance your day to day activities through engaging in Mindfulness based therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Kylee facilitates trauma-informed sessions as well as incorporating a strengths based perspective. Therapy with Kylee is a team effort incorporating your wants, needs and ideas into treatment. You can expect to learn how to effectively engage in positive coping skills, problem solve, and implement other interventions over the course of us meeting.
